After creating Bianco Nero Tarot, I developed this second deck, available in two versions: a colored edition and a limited black & white edition.

With this Kickstarter campaign, you can get an exclusive black & white edition of Origine Tarot, available in only 1000 copies, exclusively on Kickstarter.

The colored version of Origine Tarot will be published by US Games Inc. and will feature detailed coloring, along with even more refined and intricate illustrations. I wanted to highlight the classic iconography of the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot, reinterpreting it in my own style while staying as faithful as possible to tradition.

A Deck Born from Experience and Artistic Evolution

This new tarot deck stems from the experience I gained while designing and creating Bianco Nero Tarot, but it also represents my desire to create something entirely new.

With Origine Tarot, I approached the project with greater awareness and a deeper understanding of tarot deck structure, iconography, the meaning of each card, and hidden symbolism. I kept the same illustration style but worked to make it cleaner and more refined, allowing me to enhance the details, render each card with greater precision, and improve overall readability.

The artistic and technical evolution of Origine Tarot is not only in its clear and readable linework but also in its coloring. The idea of adding color has been with me since the release of Bianco Nero Tarot, when I considered adapting that deck to a colored version.

Over time, however, I realized that the best approach was to create an entirely new deck from scratch, rather than modifying a deck originally designed for black & white. This is how Origine Tarot was born.

After completing the card illustrations and beginning the coloring process, I realized that they worked perfectly even without color. This inspired me to create a second black & white version, designed specifically for this Kickstarter campaign.

22 Major Arcana, 56 Minor Arcana, 2 extra cards featuring bio and title.
